Yellowstone National Park, WY The days get very short during the winters of Yellowstone. The sunsets early behind the mountains and temperatures drop fast. As I watch the dissipating light, what could only be the last Grizzly Bear of the season walks by me in deliberate direct route to the mountains ahead. There, she will hibernate till the spring time and begin the cycle of life once again.
